FILMS & TELEVISION
Table of Content has several film and television projects in development.
SHORTS, MUSIC VIDEOS, FEATURES & DOCS
This short film was used to promote the debut novel by John Kenney, “Truth in Advertising.” The novel went on to win the Thurber Prize that year, one of the highest recognitions for humor writing in the United States. The film one a few awards as well and was viewed over a million times. Directed by Rick Knief. Written by John Kenney.
U2 Live at the Rose Bowl
Tom Krueger was not only the director/DP of U2’s Concert movie, U2/360, which was filmed live at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, but Tom also directed the visuals for the entire tour as well, spending months developing camera systems and content for the show and then touring with the band for the next six months. His work won him the touring industry’s “Video Director of the Year” award.
The Damnwell's
This is the official video for “Lost”, the first single and music video used to promote the Damnwell’s self-titled record. The first album they recorded with all of the original band members since 2006. Directed by Rick Knief.
Elka Park FBI
A side project for Tom is his band Elka Park. During the height of the pandemic lockdown, Tom decided to make several promotional videos about the bands recent debut album release, a release that didn’t go very well for obvious reasons (nobody cared about a new album in April of 2020!). So he decided to take out his frustration in these comedy shorts, which he plays all the characters (dozens of them), but also directs, shoots, edits, etc… basically doing everything alone, both in front and behind the camera.
The Last Session
The Last Session is based on the New Yorker’s Shouts and Murmers piece written by John Kenney. The short film went on to become a finalist at the Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival. Directed by Rick Knief. Written by John Kenney.
Cadillac Heroes
Tom will often team up with NBC/UNIVERSAL to shoot and direct branded content which stars cast members of their shows as they interact with the products of their sponsors. Scripts are based on the characters and general narrative of show (The Blacklist, The Voice, Heroes Reborn, etc), and tailored specifically to highlight products from companies like Ford, Nissan, Toyota, and in this case, Cadillac.
Bob Dylan Green Mountain
Shot and directed by Tom Krueger, this music video came about because Dylan had written and recorded a song specifically for the movie, God’s and Generals, and Sony decided to capture that in a music video. Dylan himself was so pleased with the footage that he decided to cut a version of the video that utilized exclusively the footage from the Tom’s video shoot, which is what you see here.
NBC Universal Sugar
In this high speed tour-de-force, Tom shot and directed Adam Levine of The Voice (and lead singer of the band Maroon 5) showing off the incredible performance of Nissan’s top of the line sports car, the GTX, all while trying to sing his new hit single, “Sugar”.
